Decades of care, not a new brand.
Namron Care and Supports is a registered NDIS provider working across South East Queensland and Melbourne. We were caring for people long before the NDIS existed, and the way we work still comes from that.
Caring for people since long before the NDIS
Our director, Christopher, has spent more than three decades supporting people with disability. A Monash University graduate with a double degree in psychology, he founded and directed a residential facility caring for 44 men living with intellectual, psychiatric and physical disability.
He then established a service providing housing and support to elderly people and people with disability across Melbourne's inner east. Namron grew out of that work — the same approach, now delivered under the NDIS in two states.
It is why we recruit the way we do. Qualifications matter, but they are not the first thing we look for. We look for compassion, respect, and people who genuinely care.
Technical skills can be taught. Heart cannot.
How we work
Four commitments. Each one is something you can hold us to, and something you can check.
Honesty before sales
We will tell you what is realistic, including when the answer is no or not yet. Turning down work we cannot staff safely is part of the job.
Dignity in every interaction
Participants make the decisions about their own support. Families and coordinators are included, not talked around.
Communication that does not stop
Progress notes after every shift, fortnightly reporting for coordinators, and a phone call the same day when something changes.
We look after our workers too
Supported, well-trained workers who feel valued stay longer. That is what gives participants the consistency they need.
Our team
These are the people who answer the phone, plan the roster and follow up when something is not right.
The system behind every shift
Visual Care is our cloud-based care management system. Workers open it on their phone before every shift.
- Their roster and who they are supporting today
- The participant's care plan, routine and known risks — read before they arrive, not after
- Progress notes written after every shift
- Incidents and concerns recorded straight away, not at the end of the week
Managers review the same records daily — which is how documentation stays current and how a problem reaches us in hours rather than at the next plan review.
What this means for you
Participants and their nominated family members can ask us for their roster at any time — who is coming, and when — and for their care plan, progress notes and any incident records that concern them. Ask once and we will send it regularly rather than only when you chase it. If something in a record looks wrong to you, tell us and we will correct it.
Hear it from the people we support
Participants, families, support coordinators and our own workers, in their own words.
